What you’ll need

  • Tweezers
  • Peg
  • Toilet roll (the empty cardboard)
  • Cotton wool
  • Pompoms

Details

  • Remind junior to use their pincer grip (using the pads and tips of the pointer/2nd finger and thumb) when holding the tweezers or peg
  • If junior slips out of using a pincer grip, place a pompom under the 3rd, 4th and 5th fingers to ‘distract’ them
